My name is Chris, I have been a dental assistant for many years. I have really enjoyed learning about dentistry. I like how each day provides me with so much variety. I like the interaction I get to have with all our patients. I especially enjoy how I am challenged to be an efficient, organized assistant... I love my job!
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandbabies. I love my gardens. Any time I get to travel is a real treat.
Amanda has been working in the field of dentistry since 1995, first as a dental assistant and then, as a registered dental hygienist since 2000. She has always enjoyed coming to the dentist, even as a child and wants others to have the same positive experience!
When asked why she chose a career in dentistry, Amanda replied "working as a dental hygienist allows me to improve patient health and simultaneously develop relationships with wonderful people!"
When not at the office, Amanda enjoys time with her husband and five year old son. She also enjoys Pilates, kayaking, interior decorating, volunteering at her son's school, and big band music!
I started in Dentistry at Marquette because I loved Science and I wanted to do something that benefitted people-I also wanted personal contact. Today, it is that personal contact that drives me in my profession. I enjoy the actual hands-on aspect of Dental Hygiene, knowing I am helping my patients to be healthier and more knowledgeable. More importantly, I love the interaction-emotional and Spiritual, that I am blessed to take part in every day, for more than 30 years! I'm looking forward to continuing on in my profession with Dr. Holmes.
Office Manager/Front Desk
As office manager, I enjoy greeting and helping each patient with their questions each day. It's the most rewarding job I have ever had! In my off time I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends antiquing, hiking, and sightseeing.
My name is Rita Flock. I am the mother of 3 grown children. I have 2 grandchildren and they are the joy of my life.
Being a dental assistant for 14 years has been a rewarding experience. Our patients and their families have become an important part of my life.
It is a pleasure to see who we encounter each day. People have a variety of needs and providing TLC to each in a different way makes for an interesting and new experience daily.
In my free time, I enjoy biking, walking my dog and gardening.
